mexico
This is the true story of seven friends picked to live in a Mexican villa, drink, sleep and swim to find out what happens when people stop being sober and start being real. Real World Gummerson!
Somehow after months of planning, 'business meetings' and Google searches, a little idea of going on a group vacation out of the country came true! We rented a fantastic villa near Tulum, Mexico for a week of relaxation and general merriment. We couldn't have asked for a nicer place - quiet, local, picturesque. Great food courtesy of Jeff the grillmaster and our neighborhood grocery store, Super San Francisco. Lots of cold Dos Exuus and Sole (but not a lot of ice). A pool and the beach and our own pack of security dogs.
The bay where we stayed also happened to be over one of the largest underground cave systems in the world. Behind our villa was a 'cenote' or sinkhole that we went snorkeling in one day. We also explored the Mayan ruins at Tulum and our villa caretakers made us an incredible Mayan meal on the last night.

How did everything come together and, wait, no hitch? I still can't believe it. Villa Gummerson 2010?
