fripp island, south carolina

Spent the last week in beautiful Fripp Island, South Carolina with my love and his family. Fripp is a coastal island near Hilton Head, a gated community where everyone drives a golf cart and spends their days playing tennis and golf. Awesome! Everyday I walked on the beach, drank margaritas and ate good food. The weather was perfectly sunny and mild and we were situated in a huge house right on the beach. Did some biking, reading, learned to play tennis, saw alligators and explored the nearby Hunting Island state park. Stayed up late drinking and then walked down to the beach to find sea creatures in low tide and watch the stars. We even watched a thunderstorm roll in over the ocean, which was incredible. It was a great time and a much needed break. Thank you to Patrick's family!

My company finally made the big move to the new building, so I now officially spend my days on Allen St. as if I wasn't spending enough time there in the evening. It's sort of bizarre to look out the window at my desk and see the Old Pink day after day, watch the homeless people and the drug deals passing by. I've already seen a couple dicey fights go down. With the weather improving, we should be front and center for some good after work happy hours and I'm definitely looking forward to that!

In the meantime, I'm off to the beach for Easter vacation!
