St. Patrick's Day

Yay for St. Patrick's Day and all it's glory. It was Mollie's 18th birthday and I started the celebration out with her at Hemingway's. There I, sadly, watched the Spartans lose in the second round - apparently their green couldn't help them out on St. Patty's. Later met up with the crew for power hour then headed out late in the evening to Frizzy's and Colter Bay. Finally crawled into bed somewhere around 5:30am...

the hip in rochester

Another fucking awesome show by The Tragically Hip, this time in Rochester. No, I couldn't get tickets to either of the Buffalo shows (I blame the Canadians). But all in all Rochester isn't far to go to see the Hip in a small venue, and Patrick, Michelle, Matt, myself and company made the trek. Lots of new stuff off 'World Container' but also 'New Orleans is Sinking', 'Poets', 'Grace, Too', 'Fiddler's Green' and of course 'Ahead By a Century' and 'The Hundreth Meridian'. Great stuff, might go see them in Erie, PA later this year, we'll see...
