back to school

The end of the summer in many ways. My recent itinerary shows it: Bills pre-season game, Elmwood Arts Festival, Labor Day party plans and everyone heading back to school. I start class at UB for an advanced certificate in new media design. Orchestra and music lessons are back on the table too. But autumn is the time of year I love most so bring it on.

chautauqua

Made it to Chautauqua for Amanda's concert, despite numerous brushes with the law. First the cop that pulled me over for making a u-turn outside of the Institute when I passed it the first time around (no ticket though). Then the usher at the ampitheater that didn't want to let me past with a guest pass (I got in anyway). Listened to some great music and then hung out with Amanda, Ben and company afterward. I'm actually glad I left a little early because later that night Ben dislocated his knee while trying to steal a cigar store Indian and Amanda ran out of gas in the middle of nowhere trying to get to the hospital. Calamities all around.

ellicottville, canada

Last weekend - wedding in Ellicottville, reception at a Holiday Valley ski lodge. Lots of drinking and mingling with friends and family.

This weekend - a wedding on the beach in Canada. A beautiful day, Turkish food, hookah, bonfire on the beach, dance parties.

Officially - done with weddings for the near future.
